Canine Creature Comforts is now offering Doggie Sleepovers.  This is our special version of boarding that is offered to our valued Daycare Clients!  Our cage free sleepovers will change the way you feel about leaving your dog behind.

Traditional boarding can create stress for a dog and that stress can lead to barking, lowered immune system and anxiety.  With our cage free sleepovers, Canine Creature Comforts offers an environment designed to be as stress-free as possible.  This will help maintain a healthy, happy dog and a guilt free trip away from home for you!

After a long fun day of playing with all of his or her friends at daycare, your dog will be able to snuggle up with one of our employees for a sleepover.  They will be able to sleep wherever they are comfortable, snuggling with their friends, on the futon with our friendly staff, on the couch or on one of the special dog beds that will be available.  They will also be able to enjoy watching TV while relaxing.

We ensure a comfortable and relaxed visit, and to do so we ask that dogs are familiar with our facility.  This means they should be regular daycare customers (at least 3 or 4 visits per month), and need to attend daycare while they are here for sleepovers.  This ensures that they stay familiar with the routine, their friends and don’t forget how to not steal the covers from their sleepover buddies.

Will my dog be supervised?
Yes! That is the beauty of sleepovers.  Your dog will enjoy the company of our employees while they are staying with us during the day and over night.   

Why is the price different from traditional boarding?
Traditional boarding keeps dogs in separate cages for their entire stay.  Many facilities do not have overnight employees.  Our service allows your dog to stay in an environment where they already feel safe and have fun.  They know the employees and the other dogs.  We are offering a comfortable environment that provides a stress free stay for both your dog and for you! 

Will my dog get outside?
For our fuzzy clients who will be here several nights, we recommend that you sign him/her up for a field trip.  We can take them to the park for a hike, swimming or go to a fenced in area to throw the ball.  This service is available any day that your baby stays with us and allows them to romp in the sun for a little while. 

Will my dog be in a crate or cage?
From time to time the dogs will be put in crates.  The dogs will be able to enjoy their meals in peace in a crate where the other dogs can’t “share” their food!   If we have a dog that is having a hard time settling down we may put them in a crate for a little while to rest.  If our cleaning schedule requires it, we may put the dogs into crates for their own safety while we make everything spic and span for them!

What if my dog sleeps in a crate at home?
No problem!  We can put a crate in the sleepover area so your dog can continue with their regular routine but still enjoy everyone’s company!

Should I bring their food?
YES! Your dog should remain on the same food while you are away.  Any sudden changes in diet can lead to unnecessary diarrhea. 

Should I bring my dog’s toys or blanket/bed?
If your dog sleeps in a crate at home with a favorite bed, blanket or toy, feel free to bring it.  If you dog does not normally do this, it is not necessary.  We don’t want him/her getting upset having to “share” their belongings with the other dogs if they don’t want to!

Can I pick my dog up on Sunday?
Yes. If you come during our normal business hours of 12pm – 4pm you can pick up your dog on Sunday. If you pick up your dog on Sunday, a ½ day of daycare will be charged.

Will I be charged for daycare the day I pick up my dog?
On Monday through Saturday, normal daycare pick up hours will apply.  If you pick up your dog by 9:30am, there will be no daycare charge.  If you pick up your dog by 2pm, a ½ day of daycare will be charged.  If you pick up your dog after 2pm and before 7pm, a full day of daycare will be charged.   If you have a weekend reservation and want to pick up your dog on Saturday, the overnight fee for Saturday will still be charged.

There is a two night minimum charge during weekends. A three night minimum charge is required for holiday sleepovers.

A $50 deposit is required to confirm holiday sleepovers.  Because of the exclusiveness of our service, your deposit is forfeited for all late cancellations or no-shows.  Five days notice is required for cancellations or reservation changes to receive credit of your deposit paid.
